Dundalk store goes on the market

The convenience store and post office in Dundalk

A convenience store and post office on a 0.6 acre site in Quay Street in Dundalk has gone on the market with Sherry FitzGerald Carroll for €775,000.

The Londis store has been offered for sale as a going concern by Kieran Wallace of receivers KPMG with the guide price a target for public tenders, the closing date for which is May 3rd.

As well as having a post office branch, the store includes an off licence, National Lottery franchise and a hot and cold deli.

Located beside Dundalk Port, the store serves a large residential area to the east of Dundalk, as well as numerous businesses in the vicinity.

Extending to around 1,096sqm (11,800 sq ft), the property incorporates not alone the convenience store, but also warehousing and open yard on a site area extending to approx 0.25 hectare (0.6 acre).
